2025 Graduates

Landmark Christian School
Blake Pollock
Blake graduated Summa Cum Laude and served as Head Prefect and Student Council President, was a member of the BETA Club, and served as captain of the boys’ basketball team. He is a three-time recipient of the Georgia High School State Association A-AAA Region 5 All-Region Basketball Award and a two-time Georgia High School State Association A-AAA 800-meter State Champion. Blake has been admitted to several universities and is still deciding on which he will attend. His parents are Ed and Tammy Pollock.

Benjamin E. Mays High School
Darrius Francis
Darius Francis graduated from Benjamin E. Mays High School. Darius is a scholar. His passion is all things basketball. Darius plans to attend Brewton- Parker College in Mt. Vernon, Georgia. He earned a basketball scholarship and plans to major in sports management with a minor in exercise science. Darius is the youngest of three and the son of proud parents, Sabrina and Dennis Francis.

Westlake High School
James Hartwell
Participated in the Westlake Marching, Jazz, and Concert Bands as the Trombone Section Leader, and was a member of the Westlake Magnet Program, earning a 4.0 GPA. James will be attending Jackson State University as a member of the Sonic Boom Marching Band and recipient of a Presidential Scholarship. He is the son of David and Kim Hartwell.

Jordyn Jackson
Jordyn earned a Hope Scholarship with a 3.3 GPA. She was a four-year varsity competitive cheerleader, a three-year varsity basketball cheerleader, and a three-year varsity football cheerleader. Jordyn will be attending the University of West Georgia to major in nursing. Her parents are Sylvester and Amy Jackson.

Justin Jackson
Justin earned a 3.1 GPA and was a three-year MVP for varsity tennis, as well as the Most Improved Player (MIP) for one year. He will be attending Virginia State University to major in Engineering, supported by both academic and tennis scholarships. His parents are Sylvester and Amy Jackson.

Mount Sait Joseph High School
Kai Sykes
Kai graduated with honors in the top 20% of his class and will be attending Temple University in Philadelphia. Parents are Nonet and Kirk Sykes.

Westlake High School
Lauren Howard
Lauren was a dedicated member of the Beta Club and the National Honor Society throughout her high school years. She maintained a 4.0 GPA and graduated in the Top 25 of her senior class. During her time in school, she participated in the Magnet Honors Program and earned the status of International Baccalaureate (IB) Scholar, securing scholarship offers totaling $1.2 million. Lauren will be attending Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU). Her parents are Janice and Lee Howard.

Michael Benjamin
Michael, a member of Woodward’s National Honor Society Chapter, will be attending the University of Pennsylvania to major in Criminology. His parents are Andre and Roslyn Benjamin.

Westlake High School
Payton Waites
Payton received Silver Eagles Honors and played varsity basketball for four years, culminating in a runner-up finish at the Georgia State High School Tournament. During his time on the team, they secured two regional championships, and Payton was named All-Region. He has not yet decided on a college. His parents are Gary and Keisha Waites.

Landmark Christian School
Shari Brown
Shari graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors and earned recognition in Cross Country and Track and Field. She set a Landmark School record in the 800 meters and is a three-time Georgia High School Track and Field Champion and is currently the state champion for the 800 meters, the mile run and the 4x4 relay. Additionally, she is a United States Track and Field (USATF) All-American in the 800 meters. Shari has been coached by Coach (Dr.) Tim Simon since the fourth grade. Shari will be participating in the United States National High School Track and Field meet. Shari will be attending Hampton University. Her parents are Thomas and Shanti Brown.

Sofia McDonald
Sofia received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication, with a minor in English. Her parents are Dawn and Eric McDonald.

The B.E.S.T. Academy, STEM Boys School
Tristian Roberson
Tristian was a track star, finishing in second place individually and securing first place as part of the winning 4x400-meter relay team at the Georgia State Track and Field Championship. He will be attending Southern A&M University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His parent is Christine Williams.

Woodward Academy
Zoey Little
Zoey has earned numerous accolades throughout high school, including serving as Co-Captain for Colorguard and Winterguard, and editorial roles such as Seasons Section Editor for the yearbook. She has demonstrated leadership as a Peer Leader and is a proud member of the National Honor Society and Quill and Scroll Journalism Honor Society. Her achievements also include receiving the Gold Eagle Award, the Service Distinction Award, and serving on the Service Leadership Board. Additionally, Zoey is a recipient of the Girl Scout Bronze and Silver Awards. She will be attending Howard University to pursue studies in film and television production or journalism. Her parent is Joe Little.

Madison Vance
Madison Vance is a distinguished graduate of Fayette County High School, where she earned honors and actively contributed to multiple extracurricular activities. She participated in Advanced Chorus, served as President of the Multicultural Club, and was involved in the Future Business Leaders of America and the Green Club. Madison will pursue her higher education at the University of West Georgia, majoring in psychology and early childhood education. She is the daughter of Mark Vance and Christina Frazier-Jackson.

William Simon, a graduate of Morehouse College, earned his bachelor's degree in computer science. He will be joining PricewaterhouseCoopers this fall. His parents are Tim and Cristal Simon..
